Student Registration

 

Student Registration is available online and/or by collecting a registration package from the school office.

For the current school year student registration please contact the school to ensure we have space available. Once space has been confirmed, please download the required forms from below or stop by the school to pick up a package. Questions? Kindergarten Registration is the week of January 22-26, 2024. Packages can be picked up at the school or you can download the forms below. Student Registration is also available Online.

In addition to the Registration form, we also require the following additional forms:

Form 301-02 Indigenous Education Student Identification/Consent
Form 301-03 Dismissal of Students for Emergencies
Form 301-04 Walking Tours
Form 316 Student Health Questionnaire

In addition to completing these form, you need to provide the following:

  • Proof of child’s age (i.e. Birth Certificate, Passport, Certificate of Citizenship, Immigration Canada documentation, Permanent Resident Card, INAC Status Card);
  • AND
  • Proof of residence (i.e. Driver’s license, utility bill, home purchase/rental agreement). This year we require two pieces of proof of residence.

Students not born in Canada or without proof of BC residency will be redirected to the Principal of International Education at Cowichan Secondary School.

Out of Catchment
If you are outside of our catchment area, please complete the Out of Area Application only at this time. Once your application is approved we will ask you to complete the registration forms.
